Their Backyard Tiki Bar is, as the management at Shephard's decides to call it, notorious for wildness. The Bar also has an open air restaurant with the Gulf view for people in mood for a combination of good food and great music. Cornflake Encrusted Grouper Fingers, Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, Bob Marley Rib Eye Steak Sandwich and a lot more is served at the Margarita Grill located in the Tiki Bar.
While Tiki Bar has live music playing night and day, you might want to retreat to an enclosed party hub for a change. How about a two-level, spacious night club with great light shows and foot-stomping music? The Wave Nightclub is yet another side to the Shephard's activity source. The entertainment schedule for The Wave is frequently updated featuring great DJs playing hip-hop, house and techno music. There's also Sunset Lounge, opened daily from noon to past midnight, where guests can take pleasure in some more live music and nightly drinks specials.
After all that dancing and drinking, hunger is bound to strike. Other than Tiki Bar's Margarita Grill, the resort has a Waterfront Restaurant for the guests. Popular for its great, mouth-watering buffets, Waterfront Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their dinner buffet includes a wide array of dishes - oysters, clams, sushi, prime rib, smoked salmon, pork chops, crawfish, salad bar, mashed potatoes, and so on. A special Sunday Champagne Brunch is served every Sunday from 11:45 am to 3:00 pm.
Shephard's has a lot to offer from great accommodations to well-received dining and entertainment options. It has also has a private stretch of white-sand beach, heated outdoor pool, a Jacuzzi and a fitness center. The site is only half a mile away from Pier 60.
