While standard rooms come with common facilities like in-room telephones, cable television, refrigerators and maid service, efficiencies and suites, for some extra price, can easily accommodate your entire family and also include a fully-equipped kitchenette with microwave.
Guests are offered several types of lodging discounts at Sea Captain. If you are planning a week-long Clearwater Beach vacation, make sure you ask about their 10 percent discount. This discount rate goes up to 20 percent if you have almost a month-long escape on your mind. Unfortunately, these discounts do not apply to the rooms with water views and are not applicable during the season, February 1 to April 30. Sea Captain also has some minimum stay requirements for the guests. It, however, should not be a problem as most travelers will definitely stick around for at least 2 or 3 days on a beach vacation.

It is situated right across from the beach and nearby to the main Marina which offers several boat tours, Jet Ski rentals, fishing and kayaking opportunities. Well-liked restaurants like Cooters, Outback Steakhouse and Arizona's Steak and Grill are less than half a mile away. For some Jack Sparrow feel, you can walk to Captain Memo's Pirate Ship Cruise and appreciate the bottlenose dolphins at nearby Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
