Barefoot Bay Resort is a simple, bright-yellow structure right across the street from Clearwater Beach. But do not be fooled by its small and average appearance. As you step inside the premises, you will realize you have stepped into the world of friendly staff and home-like accommodations.
Owned and managed by a family, this motel gives a family-oriented experience to its guests too. All accommodations at Barefoot Bay Resort are clean, comfortable and apartment-like. Guests can choose from four types of rooms here. A two-bedroom accommodation has a master bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with two single beds and a lounge with a sleeper sofa. That's plenty of space for a big family or a group of friends. You will love how both master bedroom and lounge overlook the motel's private marina and have direct access to the deck area. There is also a kitchen that has a refrigerator, microwave, stove top and a small breakfast table.
The other choices are a Queen Standard Room accommodating up to 2 people, Queen Deluxe Room with a kitchenette accommodating up to 4 people and Waterfront Room with a kitchenette accommodating up to four.
The motel is located close to the beaches and other entertainment options. But if you like to spend some time in a less crowded atmosphere, head to the motel's average-sized heated pool beautifully landscaped with tropical trees. The pool has a large deck area overlooking Clearwater Bay. You can sink into one of the many sun loungers arranged at the poolside and simply relax. Or if you want some childish fun, grab from a selection of pool toys offered by the motel and start the playtime.
The motel also has a private marina. You can spend some time at the deck fishing or looking at the scenic water views. Boat rentals are also available on the property.
Barefoot Bay Resort has a great location. Just across the street from Clearwater Beach and Pier 60, the guests at this motel are never far-off from the fun and the sun. One car parking space is provided per room at the motel. Leave you car at the parking lot, and it is likely that you would not mind walking around the area to see the Clearwater Beach life. Dining, entertainment, shopping - all are just a short distance away. Try Frenchy's Saltwater Café for some delectable Grouper Sandwiches. An Italian restaurant, Gondolier Pizza, is just around the corner too.
Activities like watching sunsets at Pier 60, meeting dolphins at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, treasure-hunting on Captain Memo's Pirate Ship Cruise, kayaking, parasailing, etc. are in the proximity of this motel.
